I'd be interested to hear your review of these versus the PMC IB2i's.

This is supposed to be quite a speaker.  I am really looking forward to your comments!
How soon until they arrive?

Shipping from the US tomorrow.  The Tannoy and the Thiel COAX drivers peaked my interest in these.

James
let us know what you think of these. Did you consider the B&W 802D or the Revel Salon2? All about the same price range.

Hi-Gloss Cherry.

james

That will look nice. That would look great in bryston faceplate too. A dark cherry red would be nice.

Had a pair of 105/3's in the late eighties and the midrange was wonderful for the day - likely due to the coincident driver set-up.

Shipping from the US tomorrow.  The Tannoy and the Thiel COAX drivers peaked my interest in these.

You'll be very happy with them indeed.  They work very well with Bryston gear.

I have the 205, 201, 202C and C85 currently.

I'm a Kef fan obviously and I've auditioned other speakers over the years and never found anything else that I liked more.

Look forward to your review.

Wayne.

107 and 103.2 here. And a pair of 103.3 put aside for a friend. Great speakers. Keeping an eye out for some 102s for the bedroom.

How would all of you KEF owners describe the KEF sound?

James

Congrats on the KEF 207/2's.  Not a Bryston owner (yet), but love the KEFs.

205/2
202/2C

Mark

Dave - I'd say very neutral.  Listened to 30+ pairs of speaker prior to purchase.  Leans toward a Revel Studio 2, but smoother IMHO.

James, I know you're always getting a new pair of speakers to audition, but I'm curious if you ever do any component comparisons??

Being the V/P of Bryston probably doesn't lend to well to admitting it, but I'm curious if you audition anything other than Bryston components??

Yes I sometimes I fool around with other components that friends or dealers I trust say I should audition. Of course I hear all kinds of things at shows and dealers and not to forget... reviewers :D

Closest brand in sound to Bryston thru all the listening i have ever done is MOON.......MOON is very "Bryston Like" in sound and build quality.
