Who wins? The cool and steady pressure of the Colts (minus their best pass rusher) or the energy and desire of the Saints? Dadgum if I know. Coaching, anyone? What?

Well Jim, my guess is because the Dallas Cowboys aren't in the Super Bowl, nobody really gives a damn anymore.

But I could be wrong I suppose.....

I thought it was just me but I can't remember ever being less interested in the Super Bowl than I am this year. This thread suggests that others are feeling that way too.

As much as I would like to see the NFL as sport, I can't overlook the fact that it is business with all of the exploitation, greed and deception of other high dollar enterprises. Things have gone far enough now to vindicate my cynicism and ennui.

Roger Goodell is just another silver spoon like GWB and Donald Trump. I wouldn't like to have a beer with any of them.

OK,,,,, I'm going with the Archie Manning's ole team, the New Orleans Saint's!

I'm NFC all the way (unless it involves 1-2 of my most hated teams

) plus I've watched more Saints games this season than I have Colts games even tho it's the Colts who always get the national game coverage and I've been impressed with the resilience the Saints have shown all season when they've had their backs against the wall. Heck my Dallas Cowboys just barely snuck by them. Plus unlike the wimpy Colts who has a history of "playing it safe" and disappointing their own fans at home, the Saints played their hearts out each and every game.

New Orleans Saints!

My money is on the Saints. Number one in the league for total points and total yards. Their defense should mop up the field with Payton. It'll be fun to see how it goes.

In any case, check out this video. Drew Brees is crazy accurate.

It's too bad they didn't have Payton try this, too. It would be fun to see the comparo!

Hmmmm... That's interesting.

EA Sports, via Madden NFL 10, has predicted the winner of the big game. It seems Reggie and the Special Teams had a hand in the win.

I think the Saints win. Don't have a want, really, Indy just won't be able to deny them. Might win convincingly.

I hope this Superbowl will be as exciting for the Colts and Saints Fans as the game was last year for the Cardinals and we Steeler's Fans. I will watch at least the first half of the game to see the latest commercials but I have no interest in this game. Good luck to both teams!
