That's great.  :thumb:

I know I love my Selah's, it will be nice to see it confirmed to a wider audience.

Good Luck.

Yes, we've been flying underneath the radar a little too much. Time to change that.  :)

Still working on the details of shipping out the demo pair. I won't be revealing the magazine before the review is published.

Rob, what kind of speaker stands are they and what is the height of the stand.

How do those Veritas sound in terms of bass extension, imaging, soundstaging, etc.

The stands are 24" high and I'm guessing weigh about 50-60 lbs,  solid.  They have an "S" on the base of the columns, don't know who makes them, I've borrowed them from a fellow audiophile...

Bass extension is excellent for a speaker of that size.  I listened to it with and without the subs engaged on these speakers (  http://selahaudio.com/id185.html )  With the sealed subs in my floorstanders working to fill in the bottom end, they produced a nice full range sound.  The veritas in my 17x21' room without the subs still did a nice job on the low end, just not gut pounding, which is too be expected from a small speaker.  I'm sure  Rick could do the speaker with a port to get a better bottom end without a sub.

Imaging was fantastic as was the sounstaging...  Definitely a superb bookshelf size speaker in the $2k range.  I'd call Rick with ?'s.

There has been some delay for the testing at the NRC in Canada so I'm not sure when the review will be completed. The testing comes before the review and there were some other speakers arriving late for the group of speakers to be measured.

The NRC test pair is finished and on the way to the reviewer.  :thumb:

I have received some requests for kits using the RAAL tweeter from the Verita. Unfortunately this model is only available in assembled systems; however, the good news is that there's an option. With a change to the cabinet length we can substitute the RAAL 140-15D. There's been some information posted concerning the OEM version (70-20XR) versus the 140-15D that was incomplete and misleading. I'll be happy to explain the differences if you call or email. Suffice to say that both are excellent tweeters and I wouldn't hesitate to use either one provided that the application is right.

Do the ported version of this speaker have a longer cabinet to locate the port in the front of the speaker. Or is the port located on the rear ?

Are there any pictures available of the ported version Nick ?

Is the model send for review the ported or sealed version ?

The ported cabinet is the same as the Grandeur and the port can be located on the front or rear of the cabinet. The ported cabinet is of course larger, 22"x9"x14.8" (HxWxD). The review model was sealed.
