I know i have been on about these before but i went and bought two more for my bcd1 on order. I cant seem to link it, they are Data Certified mouse pads from London Drugs here in Canada. I use them myself and they work. They tame treble and offer better focus with out any lack of dynamics.
I came across this product from symposium and was surprised by its comparability
http://www.symposiumusa.com/quantum.htmlNotice those drainage slots that criss/cross the top of the platform. This can be simulated with these mouse pads. I use only two but have always wonder if the seperation between two pads did anything.
These mouse pads are made of strong foam and i bet you they are the same type of foam used by symposium. That platforms is over 1000 bucks and it seems obvious that one pays for the weight spec. You can put over 150 lbs on it. these mouse pads work for only about the weight of a bda or bcd and no more. Any heavier will destroy them, but why pay more for something you dont need. I am sure the symposium works better but i bet these pads arent far off.
