Creations from my warped brain
« on: 11 Sep 2009, 05:36 pm »
Hello all.. my name is Randy Kunin.. I share the same sickness/passion as all of you.. I just recently started a small from my garage venture...lol

It's called Sounds by Design.. basically I build 1 off loudspeakers that uses a mixture of mediums and shapes to create works of art.. I will also work with you to create pieces that tie into your listening space visually and work with your equipment to obtain the best possible acoustic response..

here are some pics of my work.. I look forward to viewing all of your projects and hope that you enjoy mine..

Thanks again

This is called the Elise "named after my daughter's middle name", passives are still being ironed out by my friend in his workshop..

Ok... round 2..

This is a set that I am working on currently named Marek "after my son's middle name". These will be painted a Porsche Macadamia metallic.. with burl inlays in the cut out areas on the side as well around each driver..

These have been put on a slight holding parten due to a new and more pressing project..

My current project is one that I am building for my dad.. I call them "Pops" .. I owe all of my home audio and hifi sickness to him.. I spent my entire pre-teen to early adulthood sitting and listening to his system which consisted of Nelson Reed loudpseakers and Threshold amplification..

I also have a good friend in the beginning processing of bringing in a line of drivers called H-Audio and I am testing these for him..

Still have allot to do.. I will get more finished this weekend

Man, you can make speakers for me anytime.  Those looks like an amazing amount of work.  Truely inspiring.

WOW!  Wish I were closer to Missouri...I saw the "arolina" in one picture and got excited that you were in NC or SC as I thought I saw "85" on that same sign.

Err. :duh:

Dude, you NEED a website.  What are the costs?  Freq response?
