If this speaker were from any other company, it would be $10K, minimum.  I gotta say it looks GREAT, good job brian, I think you are going to have another best seller on your hands.

All I see is a blank square with a red X.

Brian, that's all you ever see!

Do you have some kind of security settings on your internet access? One of those kid-safe filters maybe?

Anyway, speaker looks really nice. Looking forward to hearing it.

Strange things are happening.  The photo in Marbles post has now disappeared from my screen and replaced by the large blank square with the red X.

Jim should post both pix again.

Brian,
I think you have a real winner on your hands.  I am going to try to sell my Mom and Dad on the idea of downgrading from their 3-2-1 system to a couple of these!
Here is the setup at my parents house.  Once 626r is behind the X-mas tree and the LRC is on top of the Elite TV.  H/K and X-box as usual.

Obviously, Rup, you haven't read the brochures.  Please find a local Best Buy or something similar and let the salesman fill you in on the greatness of the Bose 3-2-1.  And you really should look into those Wave radios.

Brian,

Does the speaker come all the way down to the stand??? It's hard to tell from the picutres.

Even my wife who just saw them, said that they are a real nice looking speaker.

2 for Front Left and Right
1 for Center
2 for surrounds and

Thanks Marbles for making it happen.  Without you we would be staring at the X.

This is great!  I was expecting another speaker that looked like a coffin.  It’s about time you guys thought about style and function.  Brian must be transforming to a Metrosexual.  I have been wondering why VMPS hasn’t designed a speaker like this yet.  I hope this baby sounds as good as it looks.
I have one criticism.  That base looks like some homemade woodworking deal and does nothing for the look or function.  Brian, I’m beggin ya…..please replace the base with some outrigger spikes, ala Sonus Faber Cremona.  That shouldn’t be too expensive to execute and I am sure that the speakers, since they are approx the same height as the RM2’s, would benefit greatly from tilting the front panel ½-1” depending on listening position.
If you resist this makeover change, I will be forced to call the Fab5 at Brown Eye for the Queer Guy to make you see the light!

Those look great.  I like the grill on the side mounted woofer - very Vienna Acoustics-ish.  With such a narrow baffle they must image like bastards.  Definitely a step in the right direction for VMPS as far as looks are concerned.  My only wish so far is that they had a rectangular base a-la the new Dynaudio Contour series.  The oval kind of bugs me.

tho i like the look of the oval base, i agree w/the others who would prefer either a rectangular base, or outriggers - it would make tilting a lot easier...
