You're "too busy" to send out one disc for trial listening on an Audio Circle Tour... sounds like you need a marketing dept for a more plausible reason!
Quote from: WGH on 5 Oct 2008, 09:35 pmAre you going to the RMAF with your disks? Seems like a good place to spread the word with some demos.I think a lot of AC members will show up in SP Tech Room 1004 at the Marriott. While we would like to, we sadly can not spare the time this year. Thank you for your further thoughts! We hope that everyone that does attend RMAF has a great time!

I don't understand...to have 50 cd's undigitized costs $2250, and what you get is copies of the 50 cd's that sound better? added: never mind, I read the site a little more and I get it. I do find it curious that in the testimonial section, someone says that you usually only get this kind of quality with a really top notch DAC. I find it curious, because for the price of copying all my cd's, I could actually buy a top notch DAC that has some resale value.
He says that he is too busy to go to RMAF, if I read correctlyLin
Ok, I'll bite. How about if I send one disc that I know sounds kind of harsh and one thatI know sounds really good? And I get my originals back, correct? If I send two discs in, how soon can I get them back?
And as far as good digital, I've got a Naim 555, Wadia 781i SE, a Meridian 808 and an 808.2 and a Nagra CDP.So, I'll be happy to play the original and treated disc on all of these players to see the diff.If it sounds great, I'll be happy to report, but if it does not, same thing....Ready to send discs and money. And just so you know, the good disc would be thenew MoFi of Frank Sinatra's "Nice and Easy". The lousy disc is Kiss Alive. Worstsounding CD I have.So I'll be curious what you can do to a great CD as well as a terrible one.Let's roll!
Well, from my perspective, whether or not you believe it is possible to add any value through copying of original media and doing whatever else, there was zero words, marketing or otherwise on the website describing what you are buying. There is tons of legal disclaimers, but no substance. There is also no physical address given or even postal box for the company. I would be very leary of any dealings. Caveat f'in emptor.
Cancel the order Jeff! The guy is totally swamped with orders, so we should be hearing about how great it is soon anyways right? I would never pay $50 to assuage my curiosity or skepticism.
....Who needs a spinner unless its vinyl anyway?Anand.
Similar concept to this?http://www.novaphysicsgroup.com/NonTechRURguidePAGE8.htmlMaybe he is stripping out error codes using technique suggested above then burning very slowly to avoid dropping bits. If it takes an hour to do it, $50 would be the right price.

Please do...especially since it should cost you just about nothing. We're a cheap and skeptical bunch, it would help your cause here a lot. The last eight words gave me quite a chuckle.
