Maybe he's trying to recoup his investment in a Nova Physics unit.... probably burning the output of one to a black cdr. What would be even better is if he converted a $350 laptop into a memory player using freeware, and is using this to produce the product... on the beach sipping Pina Colodas and laughing all the way to the bank.
I have to say that thought crossed my mind....If I can get the Nova Physics people to cough one up forreview, we can investigate further.Anyone in the audience have one that is willing to burn me a CD?
We can confirm that our process has nothing to do with Nova Physics' product.

It has been like dealing with the borg collective. No names or phonenumbers are given and all correspondence is written in a "we think..."mode. Everything is hush-hush.

Yes, I did get a ship to address, but they would not give me a phone number and they would not tell me who any of them are.Somewhere in S.Calif.In all the years I've spent in this business, it's the weirdestthing I've ever seen.I've started sniffing around the digital world though.....Let you all know when I find something concrete out.
The lousy disc is Kiss Alive. Worst sounding CD I have.
My daughter had my Kiss Alive CD, so I sent them an old copy of Carole King's Tapestry, which is equally compressed and rolled off.
I'll keep you posted when they get here...
Interesting...I'm glad to see Jeff giving it a go to let us know what's up. I don't see myself using this anytime soon, but I'm always curious about claims. I think this is the first time I've ever seen a company response with an offer to pay regular price for their services with: "That would be acceptable."
How about if I send one disc that I know sounds kind of harsh and one thatI know sounds really good?
