Preamp, Meridian 808 and Wadia 781, Essential Sound Products, the Essense "reference"
I also use the ESP cords on my MartinLogan Summits and ML Descent subwoofer

Both phono preamps, Running Springs Mongoose

Power amp, Shunyata Anaconda Vm Helix Alpha

Power amp is on a 20A dedicated circ, and the rest is on another.

Chris VenHaus Cryoed Flavor PCs as follows:

Flavor 4s to each of my Odyssey Extreme Monos;

Flavor 2 on the Tempest preamp; and

Flavor 1 on the Jolida JD-100 cdp.

All the above treated with Walker Super Silver Treatment (SST) Contact Enhancer - makes a wonderful, positive difference in my system, to my ears.

I have used the VH cords and can vouch they are very nice sounding, especially when used on your digital sources.

I am surprised no one has mentioned PS Audio, their cords are really nice for the price due to their large production numbers and their IEC plug has the tightest grip out there which makes them a pain to hook up but they never ever come loose.

Dif'rent storkes for dif'rent folks I guess...I haven't had this experience with them though the reviewer rated the Michael Wolff Carbon very highly despite numerous people (including myself) find it a bit lacking. System synergy is a big deal with cables, and I will say that my speakers and electronics tend to have a fast and dynamic sound, so maybe this is why they work well. For someone looking to inject a bit of boogie or sparkle maybe the Michael Wolff would be better...

I will say that seeing how PS builds their cords and their QC compared to others (examples abound including the infamous Virtual Dynamics topic below) makes me feel better about having thousands of dollars of gear connected with them. http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f21/my-cat-tore-up-my-virtual-dynamics-power-3-a-293165/

I'm trying to get a Xandak gold PC to try. But all this PC play has been a result of me running out of things to tweak. I never thought I'd be playing with power cables. No hope for me, probably myrtle blocks next.

Big Red, the Xindak is a very good, "huge bang for the buck" power cable. I use one on my Modwright cdp. However, be aware that many (most?) of them have reversed polarity, i.e. the hot is neutral on the IEC end, and vice versa. To me it doesn't matter since I am running it from a balanced power supply (a PS Audio PS300; 60vac on each leg).

Reversed polarity? Does some other country I don't know of do this or is it just poor QC?

I use 6sonsaudio's Thunderbirds with Oyaide P004 terminations on my monoblocks and pre. I used to use it on my source as it had more impact there than on the Modwright pre but I have since sold my cdplayer. These were significantly better on my amps than the Black Sand Silver MKV's that I tried (no disrespect to John).

OK -- I experimented and moved some cords around a bit, and now have a slightly improved sound (to my tastes) with a little added weight:

Olive Musica -- no cord, RWA-battery powered
Tact Preamp -- Foundation Research LC-2
Tact Amp/DAC -- DCCA Ref 1
Bel Canto amp -- Black Sand Silver Ref lV (for subs)
CD-Pro 2m transport -- VH Airsine or Cerious Tech -- straight to wall
Running Springs Haley -- Fusion Audio Enchanter (feeds Tacts & BC)
