I'm with Art, but a step further....I use a combination of DCCA and Fusion power cables.  The mix and match here provided me with the best results as opposed to running all of one brand.  You can't go wrong with dealing with Don or Eric of either company!  Customer service and cost effective product second to none! :thumb:

Cary SLP-05 - Fusion Audio Enchanter
Lamm M1.2 monos - Fusion Audio Enchanter
RSA Jaco - Fusion Audio Enchanter
Audiologic 34MXL DAC - Fusion Audio Impulse
Bolder Ultimate PS - Fusion Audio Predator
Innersound Kaya xover/amp - Fusion Audio Predator

As you can see,  I think these cables are fantastic.  I've had some of them for over a year and am still very satisfied with their sonic performance  :D

Great system BTW.  Eric makes some really killer cables for sure and is a great guy.   :thumb:

I demo'd them and got to know Eric pretty well.  I could easily be happy if I changed out to all Fusion, but have my system with DCCA Reference Masters throughout and they have all been individually tweaked to my requests by Don, so they maintained a slight edge over the Fusions and the cost of changing everything over was going to be a burden, blah blah blah...

I also really like what both types of Purist Dominus cords did with different pieces in my system.

Ahhhh Mark, you always have had a Solomon-like wisdom, I never actually considered a combination of both.  Now I'll have to do that...

Hope you've been well buddy, it's going to be a long season for our Bears....especially after the Cubbies win the WS!   :thumb:

Hey Art, things have been great, thanks!...Unfortunately work and travel for work really get in the way of enjoying the system much these days, so I have been relying on my little Nano / SuperFi 5 Pro combination quite a bit lately (and not too bad of a combo, at that; it suffices)!

Yeah, both cables are awesome in their own right, but when you build on the strengths of each.....watch out!

Go CUBBIES!  They start a series with the White Sox today, both numero unos! Hopefully the Cubbies can get past this 3 game slump!

Yes, not much to look forward to with da Bears, but one can hope for a miracle??? :duh:

I'm a cheap bastard when it comes to PC's.

R.E. Designs LNPA amps are using a DIY braided made with 9 runs of 16GA, Marinco plugs.
Behringer DCX2496 uses a DIY braided with 4 runs of 12GA, Wattgate plugs.
SB2/buffer usually fed by Bolder Cable Nitro
Hagerman Cornet usually fed by Bolder Cable Nitro
Rotel 1080 (woofer amp) is fed using a 12GA DIY cord made from some ultra flexible stuff I cut from a construction cord. Nothing high tech but works well for this use.

Front end gear is plugged into a modified BPT BP-2 Ultra and amps are plugged into another of the same. Both have their original 9GA cables and are plugged into dedicated 20A circuits using 10GA wire. The electrician hated pulling that. :) Outlets are Oyiade SWO-XXX and Eagle hospital grade.

Then there is the one ultra spendy cord in my system. This is the Bybee Super Effect power cord from TweekGeek.com. I use this to feed my 100W OTL amp and it makes the amp noticeably quieter than any other cord. Note I can't afford to spend $3k on a power cord and have been fortunate enough to have this on long term loan from Mike Garner. It is very very nice and I also use it on my SB/Buffer when I'm not using the OTL. It works really well on the digital source, hell it works well on everything I've plugged it into.  :thumb:

I am using Black Sands Silver MKV's connected to both Odyssey SEs, to the Candela and to the ModWright Transporter.

Mine are home brew, made from:

-  Belden 83803 12 AWG 3 Conductor Power Cable
-  Wattgate Cryo'd Clear IEC and Edison connectors
-  Ferrite Core 3/8" Cord Noise Suppressor for good measure, particularly when used with digital gear.

Hope all is well in Canton!

I did. Didn't care for it: thought it - like many other carbon fiber based products I've tried - thinned out the midrange.

I really like the Black Sand Violet Z IIs with the new ATL gold plated connectors.

Speaker of the wall-to-conditional cord -

I am using VH Flav 4 cords on all my gear, except for the wall-to-Haley which is (was) a $60 PS Audio cord (very very nicely built for the money, BTW).

Last night I had over an audio guest, who happens to be a reviewer for one of the larger online sites.  He brought over a $300-$400 Wireworld cord and suggested I try it wall-to-conditioner.  Well, it smoothed everything out - noticeable difference.

So, this cord definitely matters.

I have snagged 2 Poiema!! PCs and 1 RSA Alethia PC and am debating the Black Sand Sil Ref MKV or Fusion Impulse.  My guess is the Alethias or Impulse might be the ticket for my preamp.

Having owned a Haley for quite a number of years, I have tried numerous cords on it.

The top three are:

Black Sand Statement One
Black Sand Silver Ref Mk V
VH Audio Airsine

If those are too costly, at least throw a VH Audio Flavor 4 on the Haley.

Asylum Cables everywhere....  but I'm a cheap bastard too.    Dan Wright had a mega-buck cord at VSAC that seemed to make some kind of improvement on one of the sources.    The difference was barely audible though we both thought it gave a little more bass weight than the Asylum cord.     Of course the power cord cost more than my loudspeakers and I'm not sure if it was something we would have identified without careful A/B testing.

Synergistic Research Tesla T2 on Modwright LS 36.5
Synergistic Research Tesla T3 (20A) on McCormack DNA-500
LessLoss on Modwright Transporter (I go back and forth between the LessLoss and the Black Sand Violet here)
Stock RSA cord on the RSA "Danielle" (I am still trying to decide what the best cord would be here)

Various VH Audio and Black Sand cables on other less critical components.

I use Shunyata power cords throughout.

Dedicated 20A Circuit - Shunyata Python Helix Alpha - Shunyata Hydra 8 - Shunyata Python Helix Vx - Bryston BCD-1/Bryston SP-2.
Dedictaed 20A Circuit - Shunyata Python Helix Alpha - Shunyata Hydra 2 - Shunyata Python Helix Alpha - Bryston 6BSST.
Dedicated 20A Circuit - Shunyata Python Helix Alpha - Shunyata Hydra 2 - Shunyata Python Helix Alpha - Bryston 4BSST.

The amps drive a pair of Revel Ultima Studio 2s, a Voice 2 and a pair Gem2s (I haven't actually purchased the Gem2s yet).

The system sounds somewhat coarse and sterile without the Shunyata cables and power conditioning.  I am really sold on Shunyata products.
