Guys,
This thing sounds like a great deal, but I do have some questions. After reading up on Sharp's take on "digital" amplification, it seems that they are using multiple A/D and D/A conversions and the systems aren't really effecient. Can the system be described this way: small form-factor mini-system with CD/MD/Tuner and a 12.5 watt x 2 (into 8 ohms) amp that takes all signals and converts them to analog, then to 1-Bit (DSD) signals (amplified) to drive speakers? Other than size and features, is this product a "breakthrough"? Just some random thoughts.

They do have their much more expensive line, specifically for audio without all the additional features. I'd certainly hope that line sonds much, much better than the combo setups.
Upon purchase I wasn't thinking or expecting 'breakthrough' in sound quality, but if I'm able to find a unit for $125 that includes source (audio/video), tuner, home theater processor, and amplifier -- its a good enough deal to have it be worthwhile somewhere in my home, whether it be bedroom, television watching, or audio...
There are several audio reviews out there for their higher end 1-bit amplifiers, and digital players -- the reviews may provide a bit more insight into the units even if they are much different from these cheaper combo units.
