AKFest Evening GTG at Pete's - May 3rd

I'm looking forward to this event (AKFest) and having some of you audiophools over Saturday night for some demos, especially the out-of-town folks. The hours for Saturday of AKFest show closing at 6:30. I'll bail out of there before that and we'll target a 6:30 start at my place.

I am 15 minutes south of the hotel where AKFest is being held in Livonia. I will bring maps with me to get you to my hacienda and have them in the Salk/AVA room.

With any luck I will also have a pair of LS6's here by then as well so we can have a 3rd system up and running with my new Jungson integrated.

I hope to meet you there, but as much as I'd like to see your setup, my wife is coming with me and I imagine we'll be doing something she wants to do after the show (like shopping)

I'll drag out some of my wife's shoes and with all the stereo equipment, it will be just like a Mall!

I'm planning on going to the show. Sounds like a good way to spend a Saturday evening.

I've read enough about your various trials that I think I need to hear what it reads like. You have HT3's right? Those and LS6's would be two fantastic units to check out not to mention the AVA balanced gear.

A show within a show?

That would be most excellent! Maybe there's some tweaks you can recommend after having a listen. I'm a proud student of yours though so this grasshopper is pretty sure all is in order.

I have set no limits on attendees. We'll make it a big blowout!

I am a road warrior for the next 3 weeks and will be JIT for the start of AKFest. I am off to Pittsburgh today through Thur., off to Minneapolis Sun thru Tues., driving to Cleveland Wed night, back home Thur night, fly to China Friday and return May 1 at noon!! A little rest and then help Jim and Frank set up their room for AKFest.

Wait 'til you see what I concocted for Jim's room at AKFest and RMAF!
