WOW, you did it.

It's nuts here but I'm almost done but have to leave to help Jim in 30 minutes.

Are you driving tonight?  Or are the Funk Brothers here?

Come on Tom, somebody has to say screw work, chores, and responsibilities to go play and listen to music.

Lord knows it's not going to be me.   :bawl

Pics of last night.  Thanks to all who made it a great GTG.  It was really special having you share all my toys!

Pete, any thoughts on the LS6's yet? Do you plan on trying them in your main 2 channel setup at all?

I'm debating the value in lugging them down there.

Many thanks to Pete and his family for a very warm reception and a great time last night.  It was a treat to get to meet a bunch of people from here, and to hear so many wonderful sounding systems.  Pete's done just a fantastic job, not just amassing a truly lust-worthy array of gear, but also setting up his listening room and home theater.  The theater is fit for a king (with sound that is soooo much better than anything you hear in the cinema), and the system in the two-channel room sounds glorious.

Thanks again.

I would like to extend a sincere "Thank you" to Pete and his family for their warm hospitality. It was a great evening, and Pete has some awesome systems in his home. Watching the first 20 minutes of Hellboy (do I have that right?) on Pete's home theater was just like being in a really good multiplex -- but better.

It was also great to meet other AC members and talk hi-fi with fellow enthusiasts. Thanks again!

I'd like to give a big thanks to Pete and his wife for hosting this event and for being such gracious hosts.  I wish Glenn and I could have stayed longer.  It was nice to finally meet some of the other folks and get to listen to Pete's setup.  The Salks sounded wonderful with the big Pass amp.

Nice amp - 350.5 and amp stand!
How do the line arrays sound in the two channel system?

Pete, I wonder - what was the hardest part of this project:  getting those heavy, new speakers downstairs and into place, or forcing yourself to move the glorious sounding HT3s out of the way?

Wow, what a great time and host.  Pete and Brenda are very gracious hosting events like this.  Pete's children are pretty cool too  :D   As you can see, Pete has some very very nice gear and it was a pleasure to listen to it.  The theater room was great as I watched a few minuets of Hell Boy too.  My boys would love to see Star Wars in there.  Pete's 2 channel room sounded great and I got a few new music recs too  :thumb:
I would love to be able to snap my fingers to help move the beasts and hear the LS6 down there.  They were sounding pretty good upstairs set "as is."  I'm sure placement adjustment would make them snap in.
Have fun Pete.

And finally, a big thank you to Brenda for letting Pete buy and play with all these cool audio products that we get to hear as well.  :D
