Gee, I sort of feel like the Weather Channel.

Be sure to check my previous post for the latest weather forecast (page 6) :thumb:

The Panic Isle at Schnucks is now officially open

Hey Bob, thanks for offering to shuttle people back and forth  :thumb:

Tell you guys what, if you want to shuttle in, just give a call to the house (or my cell) and we'll send somebody down to get you. I would think that Fireworks World (right at the Pacific exit) would be a good place to park.

Hey Bob, what time do you plan on getting here?

Scott, I've got all day. If it looks like the majority are planning on being there at 2:00, I can wait until then and bring "bus load #1". I can hold a total of seven people in the truck at one time.

Albert is a yes.  Grant and I are still planning on being there too (though I'm going to make him drive his front wheel drive instead of my 2WD pickup)

Hey Y'all,
Looks like you'll have to party-on without me this year.
I was hoping to buzz out after work, but I've been in bed with the flu/cold for the last 20 hours.
Trust me, you don't want this, my wife had it last week.
Even if I feel like getting up for work, I doubt I'll be up to braving the weather and the distance.
Have a great time, post much, and catch ya's next time.
Sorry I'll miss you and your speakers, Lin!

Holiday Regards!

Laura isn't too picky about her wine. She likes 'em all  Seriously, I'd say nothing too dry but other than that, she likes just about anything.

Scott,

Sorry for the late notice, but it looks like I won't be able to make it.  Just got home and the wife is down with the Flu or something???

Everyone have a great time, I'll hope to get together sometime later.

Actually, I promise to be on my best behaviour, and I won't drive too fast.
Here's a photo of the shuttle bus.
Granted, this one's not mine, but it'll be good enough to haul my friends "over the river and through the woods to Scotts house we'll go":

Ooops, by the way I forgot to mention, if there are any takers for the shuttle, I've got plenty of clean, safe area to carry speakers and amps.
All but the most obscene sized speakers will fit with seven passengers.

Hey Scott,

I can run shuttle service also but I can't get 7 in my rig like Bob's Great White bus, 5 at the most less yall hop in the back. Hey it has a topper on it so it won't be too cold though.

Deadfish, it's just not gonna be the same without you there, I hope you get to felling better soon. Alan, you will be missed also. It's gonna seem strange without Mike, Brad and Ron there too.

See you fellas tomorrow.

Scott had mentioned "Fireworks World" as a good spot. A small gas station may not take kindly if the snow gets thick and we've filled their parking spots.

OK.  I wasn't thinking that was anywhere near Scott's house - he's almost to Grey Summit on 100.

Fireworks World it is then.  I assume folks would just call Scott to arrange Taxi service  :thumb:

:? Now that I think about it, there's TWO fireworks places isn't there?
One at the Pacific #257 exit (Molly Browns?????) and another by the Gray Summit Exit.
Which one is which? The one I had in mind is the one at #257 exit by the Amish furniture store. This is the only route I've taken to get to Scotts.

Weather Report: Currently at 8:20am in House Springs (Fairly close to Scotts house) we have just over one inch of snow and it's sleeting pretty hard.

Bob - Sorry to confuse the issue.

EDIT: Yes Bryan, if folks call Scott, I'll run down and grab them. (of course as long as we're all on the same page with the meeting location).

Hi Guys,

Molly Browns is out front, Fireworks World is behind. Fireworks World has the bigger lot so I'd park there.

Pacific Weather Update.
Here at the ole homestead there is about 2" of wet snow on the ground (no sleet ot freezing rain) with wet snow falling. It doesn't look as if the overall forecast has changed much other than revising the totals down an inch or so.
