Scott, count me in. I put in request to work half a day and it was approved. My buddy Larry will be riding with me.  I also know that Rich and Ken are thinking about coming. Since the Italian is on the menu I will bring out a chicken and shrimp pasta dish. Maybe some other goodies. Look forward to seeing everyone.

Sounds good Sturg. Hey what time do you think you'll make it here?

Steve, I talked to Adrian tonight and it sounds like Dennis is pretty well booked and likely won't be able to make it. Never know though.

Bryan, got Grant as a for sure. I'll wait to here about Albert.

Scott,

If you still have room for one more, please count me in.  Looks like the plans my wife had for me, have fallen through. :D
I may swing by and pick up Steve if timing is right.

I'll be moving into my new house over this weekend as well as the weekend of the 15th.  I'll have to miss this year's Christmas Bash at Scotty's.

Hell I have been absent, I didn't even know you had taken a new job and moved.
Hope all is well and good luck with the new school.

PS
How are the golf courses up your way?

The golf courses are LAME!  There are no hills so the designers make the putting greens nearly impossible.  If you want wide open fairways, central Illinois is the place for you.  However, I have been told that Lake of the Woods in Mahomet is very nice.  I'll check it out in the Spring.

I'm not a golfer, but I've noticed a lot of construction at Fox Run on highway 'W' near Eureka.
Looks impressive last time I drove by. Is it a decent one?

Bryan,
If GAS members would like to hear the SP Tech Timepiece Mini's I will try to bring them down the 15th.
I will not be able to stay, but can drop them off at @ 2PM and pick them back up around 7 or so.
This is weather permitting (I work for the street dept up here and I'm on call during bad weather).
Let me know and PM me directions, I will be coming down US 61 from the north.

Thanks,
Lin :)

hi Lin,

that's an incredibly nice offer but I'll leave it up to Scott.  The  SP Tech Timepiece Mini's sure look like an impressive little speaker and the Circle community seems to really like what they hear.  I hope the weather calms down a bit and you're not called out.

Hi Lin,

How do you think they would work in a 9x11 room with minimal treatments (first reflections only)? Would they be too much speaker for that room?

Reason I ask is the two big rooms have 7 and 2.5 watts of amplification. I don't think either of those rooms would amps would support your speakers. In the small room we'll be using the factory modified JoLida 102b. It does a fine job driving difficult loads.

Hello Scott,
I have them in a 12' x 14' room right now with no treatments and they sound really good IMO.
I have a Magnum Audio IA200 integrated (100w/ch) that I could bring if needed.
Thanks,
Lin
