john, i don't blame him for trying to repost - the first thread never should have been binned in the first place. it's no different than this thread. seems the "trouble" started when his first post was binned...

why should some companies be afforded protection from possible negative impact to their biz by negative threads about them, & not others?
if you're worried about being sued for legitimate slander/libel/defamation, i don't think you have anything to worry about from either acoustic reality or electra glide; if you're worried about frivolous lawsuits, you don't seem wery consistent about it...
or, mebbe you yust
really dislike peter, & don't dislike william hall all that much!

personally, when i read this type of thread, i am inclined not to want to do biz with either company. which is why i think it's waluable info for the audio community to have
both threads allowed here on the audio circle.
as long as nothing is being said that isn't true, these types of threads should be allowed, imo. it's a good thing that audiophiles should be made aware of potentially unscrupulous vendors/mfr's. yust as vendors/mfr's should be made aware of troll audiophiles who post bullshit negative rewiews, like tberd did in the vmps-maggie fabrication...
doug s.
that thread, like this one, was the poster's first post to the audio circle. and, the original poster was actually banned for posting the thread:
Actually, no, you are wrong, doug. He was not banned for posting it, but because he kept reposting it after it had been binned, which was in turn subsequent to the pros and cons having already been hashed over ad infinitum in Limbo and at least two statements by me saying that the thread was about to be binned. You linked to his first repost; after his second repost, I deactivated his account to stop him. He immediately attempted to register another account under another name, which I blocked as well. If that is not the definition of a trouble-maker, I don't know what is.
