I'm not impressed. So you have lots of do-ray-me. It takes more than money to put together a well balanced system THAT HAS A BUDGET!
Agreed, my system did not come together overnight...it was carefully built by comparing pieces over the last 8 years on an almost continual basis.
In a comparison of two pieces, I kept the one that sounded best.
I have done so many comparisons of so many little and big things that when someone says that RCA's don't matter, it tells me that either their system or their hearing is not as revealing as mine (not making a judgment as to whether that is a good or bad thing, and my hearing ain't nothing to brag about at 46 years of age) or they did not try the comparison with say Eichman Gold and Eichman Silver RCA's. Or between say Eichman Gold and WBT GOLD. With the RCA's as the only variable, the wire being the same.
For the record I prefer the less expensive gold connectors in my system, but I also learned that by adding Silclear to the Gold RCA's, you can get them to sound identical to the silver ones for a heck of a lot less $$$.
Comparing a larger $$$ budget to a smaller $$$ budget, everything else being equal, I'll take the carefully put together system with the larger budget. In this case I would also say it was a more carefully put together system.
With regards to Zybar..that guy has a bigger budget then mine and he put his system together VERY carefully by comparison as well.
