danny,
iirc, i was the 1st one to point out a lack of treble detail in my review. i was definitely the odd-man-out, at that time!

i dint make *too* much of it, tho, cuz i still really liked them. i did mention the dip i got at the x-over w/my spectrum analyzer, tho, and wondered if there mite be some elec'l anomaly... also, tho the upper bass was a bit recessed, i actually noticed an *increase* in the detail in this & the lower midrange area, which i attributed to the smaller iteration of the same eton in my merets. (my merets, btw, do also show a dip in the x-over region on my spectrum analyzer, yust not as steep as w/the criterions i demo'd).
anyway, i'd really like to find out about the x-over issue - if i could get the same treble detail as i'm getting now, the diluceo's seem like they would be a great choice - i'm sure two of the smaller midwoofers would give me as much mid-bass as the one larger midwoofer my present speakers have. and, they'd likely still have more lower treble/midbass detail.

ps - post pics of dodd's reference pre on that other thread, will ya?
