Chris, You're just being modest. Look at those guys. Amateurs!! They are barely touching the speakers. Take another look at some of your Olympian leans compared to their incidental contact. Efforts like that are not even the same category, much less competitive.
As the photographer of the pictures above as well as this one at my home I agree.

"The Ruler" needs no coaxing from the photographer to lay it all on the line.
Let the photos speak for themselves. :thumb:

Chances of me making it are looking pretty slim. But I thought maybe I could give away a few T-shirts to be worn there. We could have a contest to pick who gets them. And maybe the winners could introduce themselves to a few people on behalf of AC, or submit pictures of their speaker-leaning efforts... or something. What do you guys think?

Everybody at RMAF already knows about AC.
We are a force to be reckoned with.

Too bad you can't make it John....its a really good show.

A T-shirt contest sounds good.... 8)

I'm new to this stuff but will be in Denver for the RMAF too.
I look forward to meeting many new audio buddies.
I was there last year and my head was spinning with sound.

Looks like 2007 will finally be the year I can attend RMAF.  Got the time off work and permission from the wife!

How are we going to meet up at RMAF?  Or identify each other?  Subtle lapel pin of some sort, some apparel cue?  Any secret handshakes?

How would we actually be able to count how many ACer's attend?

Stay very close to the bar.....

And look for certain people leaning on speakers in front of the camera...

You know who you are!

I like Tom's idea.

I heard that Chris was going to be leading a speaker leaning clinic on Friday night.

Maybe we can get Danny to show up with a pair of LS-9s -- that would be Olympic class speaker leaning.

Big Red,

Write your moniker on your badge underneath your name, maybe? That way you'll know who you are

Seriously, folks should do that. Easier to identify those whom haven't previously met...

I have hotel reservations but haven't nailed down an airfare yet.  Anything good from Metro?

As per the last few years of RMAF....on Friday, about 5PM...we have met in the bar/lounge area of the hotel of a get-together, meet and greet. I'm sure you'll spot some wearing AC t-shirts there...or...just look for me...I can point you in the right direction. :thumb:

The show just appear to be smaller than last year, I just looked at the Exhibitor list, appears to me that Karma, JM-Lab, Triangle, Usher aren't on the list. Nevertheless, I am finding some really sweet deal from Houston to Denver Flight+Hotel+car for only $350!!!

I suspect they've lost a few exhibitors after they raised the prices.  Should still be a great show.

Last time I looked, Zu wasn't even on the list.  Can that be so?

Jim....many manufacturers are (fortunately) too busy making product to attend all the shows, RMAF included. Zu is out with new speakers, and are probably up to their eyeballs building them to ship to dealers and reviewers. Omega and Redwine are also in the same boat, building product and satisfying customers. It would be great seeing them, and experiencing all the goodies, but it's completely understandable why they're not attending.

Bryan....RMAF's rates are very reasonable, so I don't think it's the actual cost deterring anybody. But being away from "the shop" can be very costly, in terms of orders, fulfillment, and work time lost.
