I just got word that the designer has finished another batch of Paradisea Dacs..I would keep a close eye on Ebay tonight and in the morning. They should be popping up soon! I've already snatched another one up from behind the scenes for a friend.

Thanks GHM, I emailed a wk ago asking to selll me one direct, nothing, and this after waiting 1.5 wks for another one to pop up on ebay. Well today's the 6th and still no new units. Humm...

Yup looks like two sold this morning. Slugworth is right. I emailed Mhdt several times and never got a response. It wasn't till after I snagged one off Ebay did I get a response when ordering a second unit. I gather the designer will sell a few on the side. But he doesn't want to stop the good feedback on Ebay from coming in. So he prefers everyone to buy from there. Well at least the first time around.

Geesh! I looked at 8am pst this am and nothing, and no Ebay Favorite Search email notification either like is supposed to happen. I guess that's one disadvantage of living on the west coast. Congrats to the winners though! (Don't want to come across as a sore loser hehehe)

He just got back to me after another email, said he's selling only thru ebay. My time will come

If you mark the seller as a "favorite", you should receive an e-mail from Ebay, when a new product is offered.

Man! this DAC is selling like a hot Krispy Kream's donuts right now!

I remember when I came across this DAC long before it became hot. You could actually buy it at the bidding price of $400... and sometime I would see unsold one.

Well, thing have change a lot now.... and that wasn't long ago. Amazing. But again I've heard it and it is very good especially at the asking price.... still $500 right?

Yep. Still $500 plus $35 shipping to the US. I first heard it about a year ago but at that time, I was still considering other options. Oh well. You're right. I think it's well worth the asking price.

Thanks for the fav. seller tip, new to me. I figured I'd give this mod. priced tubed dac a try first, if not, sell for a sl. loss and try the Lavry DA10. Thought I just try the less expensive 'flavor' first
