Jefferson Airplane- The Woodstock Experience (RCA). Jazz with a message. Yeah, jazz, it's so energetic and spontaneous and givin it. The two "Puniels" on this just sail me away and to what might have been. Grace Slick is an intense free bird on those with great timing and support by Kantner (not known so much as a singer) and Balin (who was). His, Balin's, Coming Back to Me from Surrealistic Pillow is timeless beauty. Record of the year, for a few. I can feel the time, cut my straps.
