Ian Brown: Golden Greats (1999)

This album proves who the driving force behind The Stone Roses was. A must hear and at a high volume in order to appreciate all the textures Ian's music provides.

audiocheapskate

This Keith Jarrett quartet is woefully under-recorded, having created less than a handful or so recordings to date. This particular effort from 1974 is mesmerizing and keeps me transfixed from the moment the needle glides into the first notes until the stylus finally rounds the deadwax.

I don't have it on CD so I do not have any opinion on the digital transfer.

This album also has the dubious distinction of containing the musical passage that Steely Dan illegitimately copied on their Gaucho record.

Frijid Pink

ON LP

Harvey Mandel
Games Guitars Play

ON LP

I picked up both these LP's tonight both near mint
Frijid Pink does the best version of House Of The Rising Sun
Harvey Mandel (born March 11, 1945), is an American guitarist known for his innovative approach to electric guitar playing. A professional at twenty, he played with Charlie Musselwhite, Canned Heat, The Rolling Stones, and John Mayall before starting a solo career. Mandel is one of the first rock guitarists to use two-handed fretboard tapping.
These will both be listened to tonight

Keith Jarrett: Nude Ants [Live] (1979)

You might want to try this album that includes his "European trio". I didn't have Belongings, that's been rectified.  :thumb:
