I especially love listening to this late at night when there are no distractions except for maybe the glow of tubes. The cd really does sounds incredible. Vinyl would be awesome.

Great cd of real live blues, The dvd by the same name does not show enough of the bands but does a lot of interviews which is a shame because the music is the real gem of the project. highly recommended cd.

If you've seen that documentary (sometimes on cable) about the legendary Subway Lounge in Jackson, Ms., you know that that house band is tee-fornicating-refic! I mean major badass. That alto player is the bomb! I THINK they're called The House Rockers.
