The Watson Twins - Fire Songs. This is one terrific cd. Their cover of "Just Like Heaven" is a slow down version, which is vastly different than Dinosaur Jr's cover, and both totally unlike the Cure's original.

Satchmo Plays King Oliver is one of those titles that audiophiles have known about for years and a favorite at Hi-Fi shows for demonstrations. The first cut - "St. James Infirmary" is out of this world! Art jacket not included. Packaged in white jacket.

Giving the CD a listen for comparison, sounds much smoother and compressed, not clipped, but like an FM radio kind of presentation. The LP sounds more like a band playing a few more rough edges, even though it does have a fair amount of surface noise I think I like it better.

I always liked Jim Carroll, but for some reason this is the only LP of his I bought, and it's one of my favorites.
