The Flying Burrito Brothers, The Definitive Collection
I bought this CD because it was advertised as a 24/96 Remaster from the original master tapes and included all tracks from both The Gilded Palace of Sin and Burrito Deluxe. What is surprising is the sound quality isn't up to what I normally expect from a 24/96 recording. I don't know if its the remastering job or what, but the sound is thin and sterile with hints of digititis that you don't even hear on good 16/44 CDs nowadays. Too bad, because the music is excellent.
