Q, thank you for your information. Certainly is an obvious improvement. Will ask to see why they aren't shipped with jumpers so we all know.
Because John finally went off his rocker..and you're all following him like little lemmings How's that for "trash talk" John? All kidding aside, I am looking forward to eventually hearing your tweaked RM40's.
Ahhh let me look deep into my "crystal" RIBBON.... Far into the future....Yes I see it now.. the veils are lifting.... The sonic fog is clearing... And YES IT IS.I see... I see.. Sa-dono. I see... Sa-dono sitting nearfeild in front of... could it be?Sa-Dono will have VMPS ribbons in his system
So when do you plan on start selling these "crystal" ribbons? You'd think they'd be a little bright when foretelling the audio of the future
F100, It's pretty unlikely you'd notice anything with that short of a run but it's easy and cheap. I like good connections. Did you ever adjust the passive radiator?
I already do. And they are called Ribbon Monitors. With them I can predict what sound you'll be listening to and hearing in the future "if" (in my best Lawrence Fishburne impression) "you do exactly as I say".But the cool thing is, you can control the future (sound wise) And as far as brightness.... they can control that too.It gets a little "MATRIX like", when listening to the past with a controlled sonic future that "you" control.Keaneu is working on a "treatment" as we "listen".
Soundguy3: just emailed you. Am hoping you will let me hear those 40's as I'm in Portland also.
Even tho I don't yet own a pair of VMPSs, It appears that this mod is simply bypassing the switch contacts...
Could you just pull the wires from the switch and solder them together to keep the switch out? I agree that the switch shouldn't come on these especially considering the difference in sound putting jumpers on makes. Also seems like the cost of supplying jumpers would offset by the cost of the switch and extra labor there.
