I'm using a Synergistic Research A/C Master Coupler to good effect.
NOT that I'm down on the original p/c. I was chasing the darkest background I could ellicit from the whole rig. Dunno if it REALLY helped...
Personally, at least as far as any of my Bryston stuff has seen, I think changing cords for me has been a matter of taste, not unlike rolling tubes on the tube gear. Another way to tweek to one's tastes.
Sure beats heck out of selling a new piece because it might be perceived as bright in a situation, and taking the beating on that.
I've tried a couple other aftermarket p/cs, but like the SR one most.
I must point out that I still like the amp just fine, if I had to leave it stock.
Inertia mostly keeps the gear from changing, but if I had something new to introduce, I might jockey all of the a/c cables around, even on the Bryston.
It's something to do, when you own it and might be able to learn something.
