New update from Elise...
Pacemaker installed successfully! Took a while to come out of anesthesia, and thank God above for Dr. Klein-- who visited after and said, "No, it's time to take vent. Tube out!"..... so!---- Relieved that the procedures are done and now just to heal and recover and regain strength. -----He walked a lot yesterday and keeping his spirits up for the most part..... ---------He is sore all over, cut up from head to toe, been through the 'ringer' feels like run over by a mac truck or bus, whichever you prefer, however, we are out of ICU and into a nice room back on the 7th floor.
Please, if you are local, able, would like to and can, please come visit him. Any time, you don't have to call first, you can just come. He is in Medical Center of Plano on 15th and Coit in Plano. in the patient tower, 7th floor, room 726. You can bring yourself - which is more than enough to brighten spirits ( but if you want, any food you might think he'll like would be nice too). Encouragement at this point is crucial for the time it takes him to come home) Thanks again everyone - we couldn't have done this with out your support. God bless you all!
