If someone on AC buys my like-new Epson 8700UB projector, I'll donate $200 to Gary.

Home again, home again. He's back home and was able to eat something. He is currently taking a nap.

Trung told me this morning that Gary had not been eating and was being only feed intravenously. He is very week and down to about 140 pounds.

He still has a lot of recovery ahead.

Here's hoping the best for Gary. The IV feeding (called TPN) is often used with severe pancreatitis to allow the pancreas to rest while it heals.

May the new year bring you new healing, health and vigor Gary.

I think it's ok to post his email here since he is in business but if it's not go ahead and delete it, Danny.

I used this Paypal account gldodd@verizon.net.

I sent him funds that way as well.

Maybe he doesn't have expendable money to give. Nothing wrong with selling something that you don't need and donating part of the sale to someone that is in need.

All donations are good, small or large.

I would urge anyone to give, even if it is $10.00.

gldodd@verizon.net

Anyone can do it.

I just spoke to Gary.  He is in very, very tough shape financially.  I've sent him several donations in the past, and I just sent him another donation via paypal gift.  gldodd@verizon.net.  I am new to this forum but purchased a battery phono stage and battery preamp from Gary about a year ago, and had a Dodd ELP preamp prior to that.  Please consider making a donation to Gary, or another donation if you've already donated.  He really needs a helping hand more than ever.  We all knew this would be a long road to recover health-wise, but the financial difficulties are hard to imagine coming out of the lengthy hospitalization and complications that he endured.  Please donate whatever you can to Gary.   Thanks.

It certainly doesn't sound like his spirit is low; it's been a lot of his choice to hang in there I'm sure.

Maybe someone should donate a juicer so he can get some serious recovery vegetable nutrients  :D  I bet he can't wait to eat some real food.

I've been lurking on this thread for a few months now. I do not know Gary, though I do know who he is and what he makes/sells. I'm moved by everyone's care/love for him, so I have just sent him some money. I'm sure it's just a drop in the bucket, but (as we all know) many drops fill a bucket.

Good health, Gary.

How is Gary doing?  I just bought a Dodd Amp with some issues for $300 as it apparently hums.  Would he build me a power supply for it?  It's the EL84 stereo.  http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=125748.0 is the unit.  I want to make it battery powered again and see if that fixes it (or use an AVA humdinger, though that likely won't work).  Regardless, if someone can point me to how to build it one or if Gary will build me one, I am happy to donate to the cause.  Will likely donate anyway, but I figure this is a great reason to do it.
