So now you change it to cd where your music is located. And you should be set to go.
Installation - there is no installation or registry modificationJust download the MQn.bat, paste.exe and the latest version of the MQncontrol.exe and mqnplay.exe that meets your needs (see below) to a directory eg c:\MQnPlayerremove the versions from the end of the files eg rename mqnplay.exec2.0 to mqnplay.exechange the 3rd line in mqn.bat to point to the directory with mqn.bat in. eg cd c:\musicplayer
Nope, where the music is located in your setup. Isn't that how yours is working? It is how mine is working.I keep the MQn.bat, MQncontrol, Paste, & MQnplay all in one folder.Mark
how to make it work...all my files are in c:\mqn folder and the bat file is showing that folder but when i click it opens up and then just closes nothing happens..V
Here are some step by step instruction as I think the Readme is a little confusing and omits some information:Go the Main directory here:https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B3vvH5WBfg8PdlZmeDhNZ1Utbm8&usp=sharingDownload the following (hit the 'List' tab at upper right of screen for a more manageable view)Mqn.batAll four Mqncontrol.exe versionsMqnplay.exe 2.70 (or whichever has most recent date - not number)MqnreadmeMqnstopMqnpasteCreate a folder for all these filesRight click on Mqn.bat, select EditChange 2nd line with 'cd c:\ etc.' to 'cd (insert bat file location) e.g. cd c:\mqnfolder etc.Save and close bat file. For convenience I recommend changing the file folder to match what's already in bat file (c:\musicplayer) at least for testingSelect one of the mqncontrol.exe's *if you have a dual core select a core 2. If you have quad core any will work*Rename selected mqncontrol ('mqncontrol.exe no affinity v2' to just 'mqncontrol.exe')Rename mqnplay.exe X.XX etc to just mqnplay.exeSelect track or tracks, right click, copyDouble click mqn.bat Then track should playThen try out the different mqncontrol.exes and pick which sounds bestSame goes for mqnplay.exe. Go to Archive directory and try out older versions.
thanks for help....not helping yet.....here is screenshot with what all in my directory...V

yes windows 7 64 bit.....checked....V
Hm, then you'll want to mention it to Gordon the designer. Hopefully he can help. He's at this mqn forum:http://www.tirnahifi.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2418&p=47002#p47002I'm still learning about it myself. Sorry I can't be of more help.
V,Are you music file wav?
Something else that comes to mind. When you copy the music, is the location of that music copied at the same time?
