The magic is back.
When I had the 20.7s I bought an oriental carpet to help with the bass output and ended up sticking it sideways.
When the 3.7s showed up I had a fleeting thought, "I'd better flip the carpet around to expose more of the floor" but then I got sidetracked and forgot all about it.
I was driving myself crazy as things just weren't sounding right and then last night I remembered to try flipping the carpet around.
Success! I had the room too dead sounding for the smaller speakers.
Sometimes it's the smallest, stupidest things that can make all of the difference between that sounds terrible to that sounds just right!
For the prurient minded, I left the sex toy out for the pic.
