It's that good eh?  Okay Dave, your credit is good with me.  A whole pie is $21.45 and a half pie is $13.  Or do you want to go full bore 100% hedonistic and get a $59.95 sampler platter of 14 half-slices (sheesh - if a half-slice is an eighth of a pie that's 1.75 pies.
Or were thinking of a safe and sane single slice (1/5th of a pie) or half-slice(1/8th)?

I'll take the Rogue with either Dutch Apple, Boston, or French Silk!  I'll e-mail my contact info and we can set up a time.

P.S. Or split a sampler?  :o

Sounds great!  I'll be in touch!   :thumb:
Want me to set it up for an audition?  That may take a few days given my nutso schedule.    :whip:

Just had a visit from Ken Seger.  What a great guy!  We talked for hours while listening to tunes and comparing artists, and had a blast.

And he took home the Rogue 66 Magnum pre.  A win-win of there ever was one! :thumb:

I'm thinking that stuff would be excellent to make baffles from for a pair of Cirrus.  I'm sure I could veneer over it.

How much do these weigh?

I'd estimate the 1" 20 X 20 and 20 X 19 at 15-20lbs each, and the 2" piece at 30-40lbs.

Free inner and outer sleeves for vinyl LPs.
I have a bunch of outer sleeves for records (hundreds) and a bunch of poly-lined paper inner sleeves (not as many, but quite a lot). These are the same as what you can get from Sleeve City. They have been used on my records since I got them two years ago. However, they are all clean and ready to use. As I clean records on the RCM I am replacing sleeves with the thicker 5 mil outer sleeves and the Mofi style inner sleeves, so I don't need these any more.

I am offering these free of charge -- first come first serve -- to a regular contributing member of this forum. I will not deliver them. You have to come get them (Univ. City).

Please do not reply to this post of you are interested. Send me a PM (private message) instead.

Some items I would like to move out of here
« Reply #133 on: 3 Aug 2013, 08:08 pm »
I have an excess of equipment at the moment.  Here are some things I would like to move out.

Musical Concepts Enigma III CD player.  This player works but has broken up with static noise a couple of times while playing.  I suspect a failing laser.  Available for parts or as a project.  GONE

Sony SCD-CE595 SACD/CD player.  This is a five disc carousel player.  It works fine and sounds good but lacks a remote.  $50

Boston A25 monitor speakers.  These are the second smallest of Boston's current line.  They have a 5.25 inch mid woofer and measure just under a foot tall.  In like-new condition, beautiful gloss black, and sound very good.  I will include some basic stands.  $150

Paisley monitor speakers.  These are early 80s speakers from Canadian designer Ian Paisley who was part of Audio Products International.  He later designed for Mirage, Energy, Sound Dynamics and others.  These are a two way with a paper cone, rubber surround 8 inch and Vifa silk tweeter.  Sound very good.  Cosmetically average.  SOLD

Pioneer SP-BS21-LR small monitors.  These Andrew Jones designed speakers have had a lot of terrific press.  These have the 4 inch mid/woofer.  The person I bought them from claimed the box had only been opened to take photographs to sell them.  I tried them to make sure they worked and boxed them back up.  They are as close to new as you will find.  $65

Quad 21L2 floor standers.  Beautiful cherry-veneered two-ways with 6.5 inch mid/woofer.  Boxes, manual, everything $650

I can't figure out how to post photos.  Email me and I will send them along.  Thanks for checking out my ad.  Kent 636-399-8053

Canton Ergo Speakers
I have a pair of Canton Ergo 92 CD speakers for sale.  These are fairly large, heavy, three-way floorstanders.  They use a pair of 6.5 inch woofers and are 88 dB efficient.  There are some dings but nothing that affects the sound.  Very impressive sonically.  SOLD

I also have a Yamaha MX-35 power amp.  It outputs 40 WPC into 8 Ohms and has level controls so it can be used without a preamp.  Works fine and sounds good.  $45

Please check out my earlier ad as well.  Thanks.  Kent 636-399-8053  kentj1948@gmail.com

Not exactly audio gear but I know some of you guys are woodworkers. In turn I've got a couple of pieces for sale to the local guys.

First is a 12", bench mount drill press from Ryobi.

I've got it mounted on a floor stand which I plan on keeping. The drill press does come with the in-feed/out-feed roller arms. The press has served faithfully for the past 6 or 8 years and works just fine with no issues. If you look in th background, I've upgraded to a Grizzly floor stander. This ran $169 new and the feed arms ran about $50.
I'd take $70 for the setup (less the stand)
SOLD! Thanks Gabe!

Next is a darned handy little rig. It's a Fein portable dust collector - wet/dry vac.

This one is the model 9-55-13. The way this works is you plug your table saw/router table/chop saw into the receptacle on the side of the Fein then attach the vacuum hose to your equipment. When you turn on your saw, the shop vac starts automagically and continues to run for a few seconds after. This has a 6.8 gallon tank and will filter down to 5 microns. It works pretty well and has seen light use.  Oh, and it's quiet at around 58db when operating unlike my shop vac that sounds like a jet taking off. Oh, I've replaced the Fein with a proper Grizzly dust collection system.
This originally retailed for $399. The new model (introduced this year) goes for ~$300.
I'll take $100 for mine.

I am completely open for trades. Talk to me about a vertical band saw, cool tubes, whatever.

Hello All,

I am looking for a Fluid Damper, FD 200, for a SME 3009 series II (improved) tone arm.

Looking for full kit (if possible) which I believe includes the fluid trough, three paddles, tone arm adapter, and extended cueing lever.

Thanks, Bob  (in St. Charles)
