Anyone have any suggestions for high quality jacks that interface nicely with the tight vintage jack spacing?

+1  :)

Those are the exact part I was going to suggest. You'd have to go to Eichmann Bullets to -hear- anything better. They're nickle plated but that's not a big deal at line levels and the guts are a copper alloy. Depending on how much EMI you have, wire those up with a twisted pair or signal tape style http://www.soundstage.com/synergize/synergize021998.htm made from some 28 gauge magnet wire and enjoy them forever.

The spacing on audio in and out pairs on my Revox has a center to center spacing of about 7/16" or about 11mm. That means the connector can't be any bigger in diameter then 11mm. 10mm would be better to give some space in between.....

Just solder two wires from your connector to the jack!   :D
