Ok....Things are beginning to shape up.
Try the link above and let me know what you think.
I'm thinking that using the little heads are hidden in the map. I tried to change the icons to colored pins, but they all went away after I did that.
So we all get to start over.

By hey....it's a learning curve.

How about this for an idea:
Audio guys use one color.
Audio guys with businesses use a different color
Music stores use a third color.

What do you think of that?

More men than women are color blind. Think that could be an issue?

I'm guessing there aren't many color-blind DIYers out there. They wouldn't recognize the right color of smoke.....................

Ok, sticking with the colorblind theme I chose Green for my pin since I have a business along with being an audio guy. Funny thing was that when I went to put the pin on the map my previous entry was still there, just without a pin associated. I could not figure out how to edit or add a pin to that original post. So now I'm on there twice

Looks like the precedence has been set. Matt (a businessman) has chosen green.
The rest of us are red.

The maps can be zoomed in or out with the slider on the left, that should help our southern contingents, Tim and Ron.

By the way, that profile picture on the map is of an install I performed. I would never choose to put a TV over the fireplace for my own use. Hard on the neck to watch. But I'm glad to do it for anyone who wants it that way. Better put, for anyone that is forced to want it that way by their wife

If you click you pin, there's an option to [edit] and one to [delete].

I just noticed I have the ability to edit and delete peoples pins and tags.

Pleeeeese tell me that because I'm admin, and the general public don't have the ability.

On the admin screen it asked if I "always want to be logged on, on this computer", and I said yes.
There is no "log out" screen so I can see what abilities I have as a non-admin.
I'll have to borrow one of my coworkers computers.

If that's truly the case, I'm admin forever. When somebody moves, I'll have to be the one to delete their old pin.
