Hm...Bill, can you repost???
T

broken link. happens here if you delete the AC gallery folder or if hosted elsewhere gets deleted (or name change).

Thanks for following up.

So, good friends are good to have...
Bill was able to rework the massive plinth into accommodating the bearing for the VPI HRX Super Platter.  See pictures:
I haven't really had a chance to listen, but will update when I do.
The plinth is so massive, 130lbs plus, that after moving and having no time to go the gym (since last August), loosing 12 lbs, it's very difficult for me to lift it onto the rack, but somehow I managed without dropping it, especially on my foot!

Anyways, thanks to Bill and another friend to help me wax the darn thing, it's up and singing with the ZYX Airy 3 R-1000 SB!

Bill, all I need now is for you to help me "hone in" on the ZYX cart, since you have one!

Very nice, Sonny!  :thumb:

How about tapping a couple of holes on each side of the plinth so you can screw on handles for transporting. Afterwards, you can remove the handles for esthetics.

You don't have anti skate,  do you?
Edwin was the one who really got me tuned in with it.
It opens up the better the set up.

Ha, but I do have the VPI Version of Anti Skating, but haven't installed it.  I will need to drill a hole to do so.

Tuan, Bill and others involved with this project,  :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Tuan, glad you are finally enjoying the fruits of your labor (of love).

Such eye candy. I am envious. Wish I could make it to the bay area for a listen.

Nothing is gonna move all that weight, not even our infamous California earthquakes. :D

Keep us updated. Enjoy!
