This is something new--it didn't used to do this, but my Bolder Modded SB w/ Soundcheck software mods makes a brief, piercing noise at the conclusion of a track.  it only lasts a second, but is very jarring and I'd like it to stop.

FWIW, its feeding a Bolder'ed EE DAC. 

Is there a setting or something I can toggle?

I think it's the Soundcheck mods.  Mine does it too, as well as dropouts when using digital outs.  SC TB 3.0 will be released today or tomorrow.

If you made the Soundcheck mods, it is the buffer setting. If you want to get rid of the noise raise the buffer setting until noise stops.
