SPDIF: Two gate outputs are connected to Vss via capacitors, why ?

SPDIF: Two gate outputs are connected to Vss via capacitors, why ?

In the SPDIF input circuit of my DAC (DA500) I found two 74HCU04 gate outputs
are connected to Vss via capacitors in the board layout (gate inputs are at Vss)
but left unconnected in the schematic diagramm. What is right and why ?

Are you all just bakery boys without any technical qualification?
 :duh:
I'll try using 10nF myca to damp on Vss.

I'll try using 2.4nF myca to damp on Vss.
