Curious(as usual)regarding hollow core doors.
If you have a door(just back and across from your seating)if you have it sealed would there be any benefit to installing a acoustic panel on it or is it better to just install a solid exterior door.
It's not even close to 1st or 2nd reflection points.

If you're looking for isolation into and out of the room, a solid wood door is a much, much better solution. A panel on the door will do little to nothing to stop sound transmission between spaces.  Doesn't mean seals aren't still a good idea - just not a lot of point putting them on a door that will pass sound so easily.

Thanks Bryan, kinda figured that,I imagine as my room has a bit of a hallway(away from seating position),
there is a stairwell(open)and about 6ft back and a couple of rooms at the back of the small hall,I'd assume even though their at the back that my bottom end is suffering quite a bit and that I should either close off my room or at least put solid doors at the back also, thanks.

A door will certainly help to control the amount of volume the system is trying to pressurize.

This is just a shot in the dark here for fun but there is also the consideration that an opening is a very good trap' and may offer a variation to break up a room's dimensions.

True enough as my computer room(5X5)is about 7ft. behind my couch and the bottom end sounds nice and full in there.
I actually like the sound better in there(my new HT room :o ).
Maybe I can dig up one more pict of the hall.

Slowly putting things back together from the front of room to THIS puzzle palace.
To the right is a stairwell and further down is another hidden door.
