Short, but immensely satisfying.

(Then, if you want more, you can put on the other side.)

Double LPs will keep you satisfied, longer. I have the Pink Floyd-The Wall (live) double LP by Waters, waiting for me at the local used record shop. I think I'll go get it now.

When you say "double LP" do you mean two circles, or one circle that plays twice as long?

There are 2 12" records. Total playing time is about 80 minutes.

The Yes, Yessongs album has 3 records! My David Gilmour-Live in Gdansk has 5 LPs!!!!

Also, try playing some "long-haired" classical music, like Mahler's ninth.....it will seem like it lasts forever !!!      :duh: :duh: :duh:

The headshell on the Dual is adjusted (I believe) to be perfect for the third record in a stack of up to six. If you use the TT for one record at a time, they made an adjustable headshell with a little twist knobby to get the VTA correct. Otherwise, if it is the headshell that often came with the TT, it is "wrong" for all singly-played records. I think the knob had M for multi and S for single or something.

Stacking the records is very retro and I appreciate the photo. Hopefully this was just a photo op and not the way you normally play records! After all, your other TT is a Linn!

BTW, the base is really cool with the silver band. Can you post a closeup of the hinges?

Remember when double LPs were Sides 1 and 3 on one record and sides 2 and 4 on the other to allow for "in order of play" stacking then flipping on a changer? My how times have changed.

But there is Chocolate (Hershey) (puke!) and real chocolate! (usually in $5 or so per 8oz bar... (yummy)
So is the cheap choco treat like scratched up Goodwill Firestone Christmas albums?
And the expensive stuff like some 45rpm reissue?

I have several double LPs from the 60's & 70's that are sides 1 & 4 on record 1 and sides 2 & 3 on record 2.

Hi Mitsu
That was the first time I got the stacker bar out since first getting the deck
I just cringe when the two discs first make contact and spin against each other  :o
I agree with John, in this case "too much chocolate is not good for you  :nono:"
It was good op to check that the mechanism was still A OK though  :)
Cheers
