So many to list, can't think of them all at this time.
You're talking one???? I'll have to get back to you on this.
Oh well, I tried. They can't all be ringers, I suppose.Nobody wants to talk recording? Really? Isn't that what we're all sitting around listening to?<sigh>
The Cowboy Junkies - Trinity RevisitedIn 1988 the CJs released The Trinity Sessions. It was recorded in the Trinity Church in Toronto largely because the church has excellent acoustics. In 2008 the CJs invited Ryan Adams, Natalie Merchant, and Vic Chesnutt to redo the entire set with the band and named it Trinity Revisited. Ryan Adams kills on 200 More Miles, for me it's the best song on the album. It's well recorded, and the guests add so much to an already good album of songs. I call it chill with groove - It's easy to lay back and listed to but keeps my feet tapping throughout. Check it out!
I also own some Phoenix. "It's not like that" and "Amadeus Phoenix".The latter is that very rare modern pop album that doesn't make me want to throw it across the room.
