Hi Folks,

I thought it might be fun to explain how we each came up with our AudioCircle name and or phrase.

My phrase "The Demo is Everything" came from my realization that in audio 'doing' is much more difficut than 'saying'. :thumb:

Still doesn't explain "James Tanner"

Anyway, when internet forums just got started years ago, mid 90’s or so, tried to use RobB, but there were too many Roberts with Bs, anyway it was a flute forum so I just added the model number from my flute “80b”, hence rob80b.

A saveloy is a savoury sausage, made from chicken, pork and puppy fat -probably.  Sold in fish & chip shops here in the UK. Of which one I own.

Good man. I feel film is the heart and soul of photography. It's a shame how many people have no idea how to develop film nowadays.

My name is Ronald. My nickname used to be "tank" as I used to drive armoured cars. I loved plowing the thing through and over absolutely anything. We went through a few rough jobs and when we were assing about afterwards the guys would chirp "Ronald's the man". Someone shortened it to "ronman" and suddenly everyone was using it. Been with it since.

Youravhandyman was one of the URL's I picked up when I was starting my business.  I thought it was pretty descriptive of what I was and I guess still am.  I still use that URL for email.  So not quite as interesting as Ron and the armored cars, but fits me fine.  Still looking for a good avatar.

A and E are my initials respectively. However when I actually "initialize" a document or paper, I don't use an A and E, I use Æ a grapheme. The proper name for Æ is aesc, which is pronounced ash.

My Bianchi bicycle model is a Veloce.  Bianchi's signature color is called celeste.  The two words combined nicely.
