Scott W lives! We've been looking for you Disco!

There's Dan R too, but he's disappeared for a while.

I had to Google that one   Shows how much I don't know about this wacky hobby   The only Cotter I was aware of was the one that taught Vinnie Barbarino  8)

I'll be sure to give a full report once things have settled in Holli. I want to be dead sure that when I do, I'll be way past the "teenager with a new crush" stage. The Big Guy up above knows I'm not immune to that.

So how many active 9 users are here on the forum? So far I only count you, me and Jack B.

Thanks Jack.  Don't know any other 9 owners other than Manny who has a store in So California.  I think he already has the upgrade.

Enjoy your time with Albert too.  He really loves what he does.

Rodney

Yup. Manny's is the first. I think there are a couple of new 9s (from scratch) that have been shipped out to new owners.

I had no idea how much stuff was needed to perform the upgrades. Here are some phone cam pics of the crates of parts and tools.

Here are pics of one of the two pairs of 9s and the 11s, Albert and Damon will be working on first. Everything is all set up for them. Their plane arrives in 5 hours.

Hey Jack,

This looks like quite an operation, very well prepared as seen.

Good luck and say hello to Albert and Damon from me.

Best regards,

Cor

From what I've witnessed it looks like Damon can operate on a pair of nines in two days max. The guy is a MACHINE!

Trust me Jack, I would love to have been a part of this :green: Sure you're going to come away with a very nice upgrade but even more importantly, you've will have experienced something that you'll be talking about for years to come.  Just how often does Mr. Wizard make house calls....on the other side of the earth?

I'm still trying to absorb all the info flowing in. How cool is it to be holding a crossover board in your hands and the Prof saying this does this, this does that, orienting this vs this can cause that, doing it this way solves that......It's an experience alright.

My only beef is that Jim didn't let me use the rubber mallet and crowbar Albert and Damon brought along

One pair of 9 SE Mk2s done, and tested.

I do not have the words.

11s are half way done then after that off to my own pair of 9s.

I am now suffering from insomnia.
