This questions was buried in another thread and didn't get answered so I thought it may make sense to give it it's own thread. Here it is:
My new 4B-SST2 test sheet results show an RMS power rating into 8 ohms of 330 watts / ch; however, the wattage is quoted as being tested at 2000Hz rather than the typical standard of 20 - 20,000 Hz (full spectrum).

Is anyone aware of why the test report of wattage output is not across the full spectrum 20 to 20,000 Hz. I'm not doubting that the amp has sufficient power, and I know other things come into play such as current reserves etc. but what I'm struggling with understanding is why 2000 Hz has been picked as the test frequency for Bryston amplifiers and not something broader.
