What are your audio quirks?

I have two that I can think of:  :nono:

1. At no time will I listen with the volume dial at 13, even if it's the correct volume for a song.

2. Can not have a bright light off to the side in peripheral vision.

Turning my Bryston amp on and off with my big toe. I am not alone in this as previously discussed.http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=78593.0

If there is a numerical display of volume level it must be set to a multiple of 5. I think I am not alone in this mild OCD?

Funny thread guys!

I tried that a couple of times but kept confusing the remote for you know what.... same length... same width...just a slightly different texture.

And extending that, the cable dressing (not to be confused with undressing to listen) has to be visually perfect.

I'm a very anti-superstition type of guy. I generally only care about sound quality and getting the sweet spot.

I have to listen in my black hooded robe and light my candelabras. Then I meditate on the "sound." And tap into the "soul" of audio.  :D
