How about some macro's of tubes glowing?

So, you want me to take my amp out of the rack, remove the cover, work for an hour to do all this, just to feed your tube* fetish???

OK, Bro.

*You uh, sure it's a tube thing, or are you compensating.....................?  :nono:

Ok, on second thought.....How 'bout you lemme borrow your macro equipment, and I'll take photos of my own tubes.
Would that be easier for ya?  :P

Here is a macro shot of my tubes from my McIntosh MC-60 amp.  Not sure if I can get any closer.  It is definitely taken with a macro lens.

That looks like the stuff I clean out of the vacuum cleaner.

Sooooo....how 'bout those macros of vacuum tubes?  :thumb:

Sorry, Bob, just a meager input tube, and a dusty one at that.

Now, does this satisfy your fetish, or just make it worse?   :nono:

"Metal on fire".

Nice. Thanks Bob.
But to answer your question, I think that served to feed the animal a small bit not quenching the hunger.

So send me a monstrous tube amp with plenty of exposed massive, glowing tubes.  Maybe ARC, VTL, Manley, and after I break it so the tubes have just the right subtle, bass-heavy shine, and I'll do it.  And you will OD on  the images..........

BStL,

Quick explanation of JohnR's post.  That "<---" is a text based arrow pointing at his avatar.  Actually I thought it was quite a humorous post.

It is humorous, indeed.
It would have been funnier (for me) had I caught the joke without it having to be explained.  :duh:

Good one though John. Well done Sir.
