It's summer. Maybe a remedy would be to build some outdoor speakers with some marine-grade drivers or something. Paint them fugly green and glob the caulk on, then run wires through your basement from the main rig. Do not use coasters when using them to support beers.
Or, you could try what I usually do: move your furniture around, decide it was better before, and then move it back.
