Can we play our albums or directories randomly??

I've tried pushing the random button on the remote and nothing happens and I can only get everything to play sequentially.

A random function would be very nice for all levels of directory.

If you have access to the Mpod interface, you can set it up such that when you shake the iPod it will play 25/50/100 random tracks, works great.

Not sure if any other interfaces offer anything like this?

Hi,

No sorry - things like random and such are a function of the interface not the BDP-1.

That's too bad.  I'd like to recommend adding it to a future software upgrade.
