Hi all
Ok, I know "Pre-Amp"may be overstating it here but I'm going to rip my little Griffin Powerwave apart and add a pot to it and make a nice wood and metal case for it. I have no idea what pot I need or what is good. I think I need a pair of RCA's going to the pot and out from the pot to the RCA-in connectors of the Powerwave so I have an onboard volume control.
Sounds simple enough... unless you've never done anything like this before with audio gear (getting adventurous in my old age). Anyone like to give me a clue as to what I might actually need and how to get it to work? I realise it's probably simple stuff once you know what you're doing, sadly I don't.
I'd really appreciate any help I can get, and if anyone knows of a good supply of volume knobs to choose from that would also ge great.
