Good-bye Kef's and hello Proac.
These are my new Proac Carbon Pro 8's mated up to a pair of Bryston 28B-SST2 and all I can say is this is a match made in heaven. The detail and realism is amazing and I now have bottom end that I can feel, which was lacking in the Kef's. Kudo's to Proac for creating such a wonderful speaker.
I don't hear of anyone talking about or owning Proac around here, but I recommend giving them a listen if you have a chance and I'm certain you won't be disppointed.

The speakers are finsihed in Ebony with a high gloss finish. I'm not usually a fan of high gloss finishes, but on these speakers with this wood, they are gorgeous.

I have some sound treatments in the form of bass traps for the corners being made and looking forward to getting them installed to increase the listening pleasure even more.

Next up is BDP-1 to finish things off for a little while...
