This is an apt thread for me at the moment as I tried entering yesterday the code for the motion sensor to be turned on, but couldn't get it to work, I guess this is to activate the backlight when the remote is moved? As on my BR2 the only way to get the backlight to work is push one of the buttons.

Any ideas, do all BR2's have the motion sensor?

Thanks.

The motion sensor does not work if there is plenty of light in the room -- in other words it doesn't work if you don't need it.  Try it in a darkened room and it should work.

I wondered as well about same issue. Place your finger over that little lens thing near the top. The backlight should work because you've fooled the sensor eye.  ::thumb:
